Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to join our fast-paced logistics team.

SHIPPING COORDINATOR

This position will work collaboratively with the Logistics Coordinator, Inventory Coordinator and the Production Coordinator.

Requirements and Duties

The role will be responsible and accountable for:

· Leading the order packing process by coordinating with pipe cutters and pickers to compile mesh, fittings and other items as per order

· Liaising with logistics coordinator to ensure order is complete and ready for delivery/shipping

· Collaborating with Production Co-Ordinator to ensure gates and other made items are in line with proposed schedules for shipping.

· Co-ordinate pipe tags as per required orders

· Responsible for assigning pickers to each order and ensuring proper return of pick ticket

· Prioritize each shipping order to accommodate dated deadlines

· Update status in Industrios system – (e.g. Pipe is cut, order is packed)

· Ensure any shipping extras as per Construction Manager or salesperson are accounted for on the shipping workbench.

· Responsible for updating shipments with picked quantities (if different from original pick ticket).

· Process shipping order once shipped out and verified

· Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments or deliveries

Required Skill and Abilities:





· Strong organizational, communication, multi-tasking skills

· Impeccable time management

· Have and understanding of warehouse distribution operations

· Focus on customer service: positive, do what it takes attitude

· Exceptional “People Skills” required for constant communication with customers and internal Phoenix personnel

· Proactively respond to customer concerns

· Work within quick paced, high pressure, environment

· Ability to analyze problems and make balanced, effective decisions

· Documentation and paperwork abilities

· Previous experience with shipping coordination

· Able to work effectively in a team environment

· Able to work outside of standard business hours (8-5 pm) Monday to Friday, some weekends may apply during season

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel

Pay: $50,000.00-$56,000.00 per year
