Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Excavator Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate heavy machinery to support various construction projects, ensuring precision and safety throughout each phase. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of earthmoving tasks, site preparation, and infrastructure development.

Duties

- Operate excavators safely and efficiently to perform digging, trenching, loading, and material handling tasks
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues promptly




- Follow project plans and specifications to execute excavation work accurately
- Support site preparation activities including grading and leveling using excavators and graders
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and maintain a safe work environment
- Assist with ground site prep when required.
- Maintain detailed records of daily operations, equipment usage, and safety checks

Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years experience operating excavators
- Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment
- Valid class 5 driver’s license required, class 3 an asset
- Solid understanding of construction safety protocols and procedures
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems and general mechanical troubleshooting skills

Pay: $28.50-$36.00 per hour
