Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to facilitate large-scale construction projects efficiently and safely. Your expertise will ensure that equipment is used effectively to meet project deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities

- Operate heavy machinery including dozers, excavators, loaders, graders, backhoes, and horizontal drilling equipment with precision and safety.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on all equipment prior to use to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with site preparation, grading, paving, and excavation tasks to support project timelines.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to coordinate equipment usage and project progress.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment operation, maintenance logs, and site activities for accountability.




- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues and communicate complex problems to maintenance teams when necessary.

Requirements

- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers (including Caterpillar), excavators, loaders, graders, backhoes, and horizontal drilling machinery in a construction setting.
- Robust mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on heavy machinery.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent certification for transporting equipment or materials as needed.
- Demonstrated expertise in loader operation, grader operation, paving techniques, and backhoe handling.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices for heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and efficiency.
- Prior experience with Caterpillar equipment or similar brands is highly desirable.
