Job Type: Full-time and part-time opportunities. SATURDAY AND SUNDAY REQUIRED

Pay: $17.00- $28.00 per hour depending on experience

Successful candidates will have:

- A desire to provide exceptional patient care
- First-class customer service and sales skills
- A knowledge of optical field including best practices
- Excellent communicative, written and computer skills
- The ability to use critical thinking to problem solve independently in a fast-paced environment
- The desire to grow through provided learning and training sessions

Job duties will include but, are not limited to:
- Prescription Interpretation
- Eyewear Selection and recommendations
- Measurements, fittings, pick ups and adjustments
- Repairs and maintenance
- Patient Education




- Administrative Duties: Managing customer records, maintain inventory of frames and lenses, process insurance claims, and handle sales transactions
- Coordinate with optical laboratories to order and verify lenses

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- MINIMUM OF 1 YEAR OPTICAL SALES EXPERIENCE
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience in customer service, sales or medical office reception is advantageous
- Knowledge or willingness to learn of healthcare practices and optometric terminology and procedures
- The ability to commute to and from the clinic

Expected hours: 20-40 per week, evening and weekends
