Service Advisor – Automotive & Commercial Tire

We’re looking for a customer-focused Service Advisor to join our busy shop, which provides mechanical repair and tire service for passenger vehicles and sells tires to commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers, listen to their concerns, and write clear, accurate repair orders.
- Explain repairs, maintenance, and tire options, and provide estimates.
- Coordinate with technicians on scheduling, job status, and parts or tire availability.
- Quote and sell passenger and light truck tires, and handle commercial tire sales and inquiries from fleet and business accounts.
- Keep customers updated on progress and get authorization for additional work.
- Process invoices, payments and review completed work with customers at pickup.
- Maintain customer records and build lasting relationships with retail and commercial clients.

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a service advisor, in automotive or tire sales,



or in a similar customer service role.
- Working knowledge of automotive systems, and familiarity with passenger and commercial tires.
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills in a rapid-paced environment.
- Comfortable with shop management software and point-of-sale systems.
- Valid driver’s license.

Pay: $18.50-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Experience:

- AUTOMOTIVE service advisor : 2 years (required)
- COMMERCIAL tire industry: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Canadian PR, NOT a work permit (required)
- Clean criminal background (required)
- Class 5 license and clean driving abstract (required)
