Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, consistency, and attention to detail, following established recipes and standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients to streamline kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and workstations
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety regulations and hygiene standards to promote food safety
- Support food service staff by ensuring timely meal preparation and presentation for service periods
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when restocking is needed




- Follow all health and safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant kitchen roles within the food industry
- Robust knowledge of food handling practices, safety standards, and sanitation procedures
- Experience with meal preparation techniques across various cuisines or menu types is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration with kitchen staff and servers
- Prior experience in serving or food service roles is a plus but not mandatory
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
