Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Event Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of attendees, staff, and property during various events. This dynamic role involves monitoring event premises, controlling access points, and responding swiftly to any incidents. As an essential part of our security team, you will help create a safe environment where everyone can enjoy the event experience with confidence.

Your energetic approach and attention to detail will be vital in maintaining order and preventing loss or disruptions.

Duties

- Monitor event venues through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Control access points by verifying tickets, credentials, or identification to ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the event area to observe crowd behavior, identify potential hazards, and deter misconduct.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing for theft or vandalism and taking appropriate action.




- Enforce venue policies and safety protocols to maintain a secure environment for all attendees and staff.
- Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance documentation to ensure accurate recordkeeping.

Requirements

- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is highly preferred.
- Strong surveillance skills with familiarity using CCTV systems for continuous monitoring.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to identify and prevent theft or damage.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members, attendees, and emergency responders.
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, and respond quickly across large event spaces for extended periods.
- Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations is a plus.
