The Chance

Cirque du Soleil is looking for a Senior Sales Manager to lead commercial growth across our touring show portfolio in the Americas. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will lead a team of Group Sales Managers and a Sales Coordinator, with the mandate to turn strategy into measurable results, market by market.

What You'll Do

- Design and execute group and distribution sales strategies across the Americas touring portfolio, translating business plans, market conditions, and revenue goals into concrete results.
- Own and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets;
monitor pipeline health, conversion rates, and partner performance and course-correct fast when needed.
- Lead and coach a high-volume team through the full sales cycle, building a disciplined outbound program and consistent portfolio-wide practices.
- Build and grow a distribution partner portfolio — from online travel agencies and tour operators to ticketing platforms and API-connected resellers — across prospecting, negotiation, onboarding, and account growth.
- Collaborate with Revenue Management, Marketing,



and Technology to develop pricing, inventory, and packaging strategies that maximize conversion while protecting brand integrity.
- Deliver clear, data-driven forecasts, pipeline reviews, and business updates to senior leadership, using Salesforce to keep the team sharp, accountable, and focused.
- Represent Cirque du Soleil at client meetings, trade shows, and market visits and bring back the relationships and revenue that move the business forward.

What You Bring

Must-Haves:

- 8+ years of progressive sales experience in entertainment, sports, hospitality, tourism, or travel — including 3+ years leading people or a multi-market sales function.
- Proven track record building outbound programs, qualified pipelines, and books of business while consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong command of group sales, account management, contract negotiation, commission structures, pricing, and forecasting.
- Experience developing high-performing teams across multiple markets, backed by strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or a comparable CRM, and Microsoft Office.
- Full bilingualism in French and English, spoken and written (required). Must reside in Montreal, Canada.

Bonus Points For:

- Familiarity with ticketing and distribution technology such as Outbox, Ticketmaster, or API-connected systems.
