As a Summer Student in Operational Engineering, you will join a cooperative multi-disciplinary team at AltaLink. This role offers hands-on support on various engineering sub-groups, including transmission lines and civil work. With your solid foundation in Electrical Engineering, you will assist in technical assessments, stakeholder communications, and compliance reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders
• Review third-party requests regarding AltaLink facilities
• Interpret and communicate safety standards to third parties




• Assist in reviewing engineering drawings and site plans
• Support engineering studies and data analysis
Requirements:
• Electrical Engineering student with two years of study
• Familiarity with electrical transmission facilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent time management and communication abilities
