RigMac Moving is hiring a dependable and hardworking 5-Ton Moving Truck Driver & Mover to join our growing team immediately.

This position involves driving a 5-ton cube van, safely packing and securing customers’ belongings, loading and unloading furniture, and assisting with residential and commercial moves.

Responsibilities:

- Safely drive a 5-ton cube van to and from job sites
- Load, pack and secure furniture and household belongings
- Unload items carefully at their destination
- Protect customers’ homes, furniture and other belongings from damage
- Work efficiently as part of a moving crew
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Complete basic vehicle inspections and report any concerns
- Keep the truck, equipment and work areas clean and organized

Requirements:

- Dependable, punctual and ready to work
- Able to perform physically demanding work,



including lifting heavy furniture
- Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Available to work long and sometimes unpredictable hours when required
- Comfortable working early mornings, evenings and weekends as scheduled
- Able to work well with others and follow instructions

Previous moving, delivery, furniture-handling or truck-packing experience would be an asset, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person.

Starting wage is $20 per hour, with opportunities for raises and performance bonuses.

Expected hours: No less than 1.0 per week
