Qualicum School District is seeking casual Bus Drivers to serve its vibrant community. This role involves driving students safely from Nanoose Bay to Bowser, with hours ranging from 6:55am to 4:55pm. An ideal candidate will exhibit strong interpersonal skills and prioritize safety and discipline while on the road.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive school buses on various routes safely
• Maintain discipline procedures with students during transport
• Conduct pre and post-checks of the bus
• Communicate effectively with staff and the public
• Assist students with loading and unloading safely
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent education
• Valid Class 2 BC driver’s licence with Air Endorsement
• Clean Driver’s Abstract required
• Completion of internal training requirements
• Valid Basic or Emergency First Aid certificate preferred
