Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations in a fast-paced medical office environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various administrative tasks efficiently. Experience in a dental office setting is a plus.

Duties
Greet patients and visitors warmly as they arrive at the front desk.
Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accurate information is collected.
Schedule appointments and maintain the calendar for healthcare providers.
Handle phone systems efficiently, answering calls promptly and addressing patient inquiries.
Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) with accuracy,
Process patient insurance information and verify eligibility.
Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.




Communicate effectively with medical staff regarding patient needs and appointment changes.
Understand and utilize medical terminology to facilitate transparent communication within the office.

Experience
Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or Dental Receptionist is preferred.
Familiarity with electronic medical records systems (EMR)
Proficient in using phone systems and office equipment.
Robust understanding of medical terminology is beneficial.
Ability to thrive in a busy workplace while maintaining professionalism and compassion towards patients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
