Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our team. This vital role involves managing a wide range of bookkeeping/accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the smooth operation of our accounts payable and receivable processes. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and possess a strong understanding of accounting software (Simply Accounting) and have a strong proficency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Access. Your contributions will help maintain financial integrity and support the overall success of our organization.

Duties
Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and account management using platforms like Simply Accounting.
Oversee accounts payable functions by processing invoices, verifying transactions, and ensuring timely payments.
Perform account reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy across various ledgers and financial statements.
Maintain accurate data entry in accounting software




Office Administration

Experience
College Diploma in Accounting or Bookkeeping (would be an asset)
Bookkeeping experience (would be an asset)
Working knowledge of legacy accounting software such as Sage 50/QuickBooks.
Proficency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Access.
Solid ability to use and maintain Business Email.
Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Highly organized, analytical, proactive and an adept problem solver.
Ability to work independently or with limited supervision.
