Role Description

This is a contract role for a Junior Geologist/Geological Assistant located in Toronto, ON. The Geological Assistant will be responsible for digitizing historical drill hole logs, build GIS database.
Provide support in data collection, analysis, and research activities
Assist in building and maintaining databases and data management systems
Assist in the development of reports, presentations, and documentation

Qualifications
Experience in Mining Industry
Bachelor's degree in Geology/Geophysics/Geoscience, students in related programs
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ArcGIS software.




Solid research skills and ability to gather information from various sources
Detail-oriented with solid organizational and time management skills
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent data analysis skills and ability to interpret complex data sets
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Fieldwork experience is a plus
