Duties
Prepare and assemble a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with precision and artistry
Ensure all food handling procedures meet safety standards and maintain impeccable hygiene practices
Serve guests with friendly, efficient service while explaining menu items and accommodating special requests
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and workstations
Monitor ingredient freshness and manage inventory levels to ensure consistent quality




Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation guidelines diligently during meal preparation and service
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely delivery of orders

Qualifications
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
Strong knowledge of sushi making techniques, including serving fresh fish and seafood safely
Familiarity with food handling regulations and food safety standards
Excellent skills in meal preparation, plating, and presentation that highlight creativity and attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
Previous restaurant experience preferred; kitchen experience is highly valued
Passion for Japanese cuisine with a desire to learn new techniques and expand culinary skills

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
