Job Summary
The Retail Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the store while ensuring exceptional customer service and a positive shopping experience. This position involves assisting the Store Manager in overseeing staff, managing inventory, and maintaining store standards. Duties
Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
Supervise and train retail staff to ensure high levels of performance and customer service
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively to enhance satisfaction
Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management, including ordering and replenishing products
Maintain visual merchandising standards to create an appealing shopping environment
Perform cashier duties, including processing transactions accurately and efficiently
Implement promotional strategies to drive sales and enhance customer engagement
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations

Skills




Solid background in hospitality to foster a welcoming atmosphere for customers
Proficient in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for diverse customer interactions
Competent in computer operation for inventory management and sales tracking
Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory calculations
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Robust communication skills to interact with customers, staff, and management professionally

Pay: $18.50-$21.00 per hour
