BC Licensed Early Childhood Educator - temporary full time (20-month term)

Tiny Hoppers Queensborough opened its door in April 2021 and we are looking for experience and passionate educators with a valid BC license to work in our infant and toddler classroom. This position is a temporary full time position (20-month contract with the possibility of extension or becoming permanent full time). We are located in Queensborough Landing at 805 Boyd Street, New Westminster, with lots of parking spaces and walking distance from public transit

Responsibilities:
Observe and record children's daily activities based on the reflection questions from Early Learning Framework.
Knowledge of the BC Licensing Regulations
Plan programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
Maintain a clean, respectful, and orderly classroom
Following policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of the children and staff.
Knowledge of licensing regulations

Requirements:
Valid BC Early Childhood Educator License
At least 2 years of childcare experience within BC (excluding practicum)
First aid certificate
Must agree to go through Criminal Record Check




Have a robust understanding of child development and behavior
Good computer skills
Excellent communication skills
Have strong problem-solving skills and robust ability to multi-task
