We are a small boutique and are seeking a personable and professional Sales Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role offers an exciting chance to engage with high-end clientele, showcase premium products, and deliver exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for retail sales, and an interest in luxury merchandise. As a representative of our brand, you will help create an inviting shopping workplace while supporting sales goals and enhancing the customer experience.

Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience
Demonstrate products through engaging product knowledge
Assist customers with selecting merchandise that meets their preferences and needs
Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
Upsell products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a customer-first approach




Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays
Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and well-stocked
Provide excellent customer service via phone and in-person inquiries
Support inventory management and assist with stock replenishment as needed
Uphold brand standards in appearance, communication, and professionalism at all times

Qualifications
Previous experience in retail sales an asset
Solid communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
Knowledge of merchandising, POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills
Excellent organizational skills and time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Shopify knowledge an asset
Fluent in Excel or Google Sheets
Social Media literate
Qualified phone etiquette and customer service orientation are essential
Flexibility to work part-time hours with availability during peak shopping times
MUST BE AVAILABLE ON SUNDAYS AND MONDAYS
