Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support physiotherapists in delivering patient-centered care, assist with therapy sessions, and help maintain an organized clinical workplace. Duties
Assist physiotherapists during patient therapy sessions, including setting up equipment and supporting exercises
Prepare treatment areas and ensure all necessary supplies are ready for therapy sessions
Support patient mobility and comfort during treatments, ensuring safety and proper technique
Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans using case management software (Jane)
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding treatment procedures and progress
Manage scheduling and coordinate appointments utilizing Microsoft Outlook and organizational skills
Help with administrative tasks such as updating medical records and managing patient files




Support with inventory management of medical supplies and equipment maintenance
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies

Qualifications
Proven experience in a clinical and outpatient setting
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, case management, and patient care procedures
Excellent communication skills in English
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other office software for documentation and communication purposes
Robust organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a rapid-paced environment
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Demonstrated analysis skills for assessing patient needs and adapting support accordingly
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail

This role is vital in supporting the rehabilitation process and enhancing patient outcomes through compassionate care and professional expertise.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
