Job Summary

Duties
Prepare a variety of baked goods, including cakes, , following established recipes and quality standards
Decorate cakes and desserts with intricate designs, themes, and personalized touches to meet customer specifications
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the bakery area
Assist customers by providing product recommendations, answering questions about ingredients or customization options, and offering exceptional customer service
Package baked goods securely for display or takeout, maintaining presentation quality during handling and transportation




Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients; communicate needs for restocking or ordering supplies
Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to health codes and safety protocols at all times

Skills
Proficiency in cake decorating techniques such as piping, fondant work, airbrushing, and sculpting
Experience working in a restaurant or bakery setting with knowledge of food preparation and cooking methods
Strong understanding of food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and food safety standards
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with clients and team members
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Kitchen experience involving food industry best practices for baking, packaging, and presentation
Familiarity with food industry regulations related to hygiene, safety, and allergen management
