Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Order Picker/Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment, inventory management, and safe operation of material handling equipment. The ideal candidate will possess robust mechanical knowledge, proficiency in warehouse distribution processes, and the ability to operate various types of forklifts, including reach trucks and order picker machines. Duties
Select and prepare customer orders with precision using order picking techniques, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Operate forklift trucks and reach trucks safely to move, stack, and organize inventory within the warehouse.
Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update order statuses, and maintain accurate records.
Conduct heavy lifting tasks regularly while adhering to safety protocols to prevent injury or damage.
Assist in inventory counts, stock replenishment, and organizing warehouse storage areas.
Follow standard operating procedures for equipment inspection, maintenance requests,



and safety compliance.
Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow efficiency and meet daily order fulfillment targets.

Skills
Proven experience in warehouse distribution operations with familiarity in order picking processes.
Proficiency in operating forklifts, clamp trucks, and other material handling equipment.
Mechanical knowledge to perform routine equipment inspections and troubleshoot minor issues.
Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
Strong understanding of safety standards related to forklift operation and warehouse workplace.

Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour
