Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Spot Welder to join our client's manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing precise spot welding operations to assemble and fabricate metal components efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with welding techniques, and the ability to interpret technical drawings. This position offers an chance to contribute to high-quality production processes within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
Operate spot welding equipment to join metal parts according to specifications and safety standards
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure proper assembly
Prepare materials using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and press brake machines as needed
Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring proper calibration
Assist with related tasks such as MIG and TIG welding, ductwork fabrication, and assembly of components
Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and ensure precision in welds




Support the setup of machinery including cranes and forklifts for material handling and positioning
Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working workplace
Collaborate with team members on projects involving machining, schematics interpretation, and construction experience

Skills
Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, and plasma cutting techniques
Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in rigging, machining, and assembly processes
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, calipers, and press brake machines
Knowledge of ductwork fabrication and construction-related tasks
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during fabrication processes
Understanding of manufacturing standards related to welding, schematics interpretation, and quality control
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
