Southern Health-Santé Sud is seeking a Health Care Aide for a permanent role in its Long Term Care unit. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of nursing professionals to ensure person-centered care, enabling the elderly and disabled residents to live comfortably. Previous experience in a health care setting is preferred, along with a valid Health Care Aide Certificate.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Provide secure and compassionate personal care
• Collaborate with nursing staff on care plans




• Ensure compliance with accreditation and safety standards
• Maintain confidentiality and respect residents' privacy
Requirements:
• Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized program
• 1-2 years’ experience in a health care environment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Knowledge of privacy legislation and safety protocols
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
