Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to efficiently manage inventory and support warehouse distribution operations. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to safety protocols, and the ability to perform heavy lifting in a fast-paced workplace. The Forklift Operator plays a vital role in maintaining smooth warehouse operations and ensuring timely order fulfillment.

Duties
Safely operate forklifts,, to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse
Perform order picking accurately using lightspeed systems to fulfill customer orders
Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and equipment, reporting any maintenance issues promptly
Assist with inventory management by organizing stock and ensuring proper storage practices
Use basic math skills to verify quantities and measurements during loading and unloading processes




Support warehouse management system data entry for inventory tracking and order processing
Engage in heavy lifting tasks as required, following safety guidelines to prevent injury
Maintain a clean and organized work setting to promote safety and efficiency

Experience
Prior experience operating forklifts, is mandatory
Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues
Basic math skills are necessary for accurate order picking and inventory counts
Experience with heavy lifting in a warehouse setting is beneficial
A valid forklift certification or licensing is required or must be obtained upon hire

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
