We're looking for a Mechanical Assembler to join our team. You will need to have a positive attitude and be willing to collaborate with others to learn, grow, and improve within DCD Design. You will be responsible for assembling a variety of mechanical components according to proven methods. We are willing to train people with the right attitude, and experience.

Job Description:
Follow health and safety guidelines and rules
Verify all parts to be assembled are as designed
Ensure that all necessary parts required are available
Assemble, install, and fit parts according to plans/drawings
Verify quality sub-assemblies and finished product to our high standards
Make recommendations regarding drawing, and process modification
Maintain a clean and safe work workplace




Read and interpret blueprints, and drawings

Qualifications:
High school diploma (or equivalent)
Excellent mechanical aptitude for working with complex assemblies
Experience with assembly following engineering drawings
Ability to work with common power tools
Independent worker, professional
Team Player, positive attitude
Some lathe and milling experience would be an advantage
Good communication skills (We adapt to people with limited English)
Meticulous attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
