About the Role

Chop Shop Physiques is hiring a part time Front Desk & Gym Staff member to split time between our Sherwood Park and Fort Saskatchewan locations. You'll be the first face members see: welcoming members, managing access, handling payments, providing excellent customer service, keeping the gym clean, and supporting day-to-day gym operations. You'll report directly to the location Manager.

Key Responsibilities
Welcome and register members and visitors
Manage membership payments, renewals, and records
Monitor gym access and enforce facility rules
Provide information and assistance to members
Maintain cleanliness of common areas, bathrooms, and equipment
Support event setup and general gym operations as needed

Specific Duties
Supervise member flow and access control
Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks
Report incidents or facility issues to the Manager
Ensure proper use of equipment and gym spaces
Follow safety and hygiene protocols at all times
Handle deliveries
Update cleaning supplies inventory records
Address questions or concerns from members on site,



escalating to the Manager when needed

What We're Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent
1–2 years in customer service, front desk, or operational roles (preferred)
Experience cleaning or maintaining facilities (an asset)
Comfortable handling cash, payments, membership registration, and record keeping
Knowledge of gym operations and front desk software
Solid customer service, teamwork, and communication skills
Organized, responsible, punctual, and committed to integrity

Working Conditions
Part-time- Saturday and Sundays and potential for more weekday shifts.
Shifts split between our Sherwood Park and Fort Saskatchewan locations; reliable transportation is an asset
Exposure to cleaning chemicals and gym equipment; role involves being on your feet

Pay: $18–$21/hour

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 24.0 per week
