Job Overview

We are seeking a agile and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our construction team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee carpentry projects from start to finish, ensuring quality craftsmanship, safety, and efficiency on every job site. Duties
Lead and supervise carpentry crews, assigning tasks and ensuring timely completion of projects
Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide work accurately
Execute a wide range of carpentry tasks including framing, drywall hanging, and woodwork fabrication
Perform roofing, siding installation, and rebar placement as required
Manage material procurement, estimate project needs, and ensure proper use of hand tools and power tools for maximum efficiency
Oversee quality control measures during construction activities to meet safety standards and client specifications
Coordinate with subcontractors for plumbing, electrical work, HVAC systems, and other trades to ensure seamless project flow




Conduct heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized work setting

Skills
Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating
Extensive experience with drywall installation, flooring, tile laying, siding, and caulking techniques
Skilled in woodworking craftsmanship
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, scaffolding equipment safely and effectively
Knowledge of plumbing systems and electrical wiring practices relevant to carpentry projects
Prior handyman experience or construction experience demonstrating versatility across trades
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor team members and enforce safety protocols
Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work in varying conditions
