Casa Donato is a new restaurant and café concept in Toronto, created by an established group of Montreal restaurateurs.

With Italian roots and a strong focus on quality, hospitality, and consistency, we are building a passionate culinary team ready to grow with us.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and organized Cook to join our café kitchen team.

You will prepare sandwiches, salads, and other café offerings, following established recipes and ensuring consistent quality, freshness, and presentation. This is a excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on kitchen work and takes pride in preparing quality food.

Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and complete daily prep according to production needs.
Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other café menu items.
Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
Keep workstations, equipment, and storage areas clean and organized.
Follow food-safety and sanitation procedures.
Label, date, store, and rotate ingredients properly.
Help receive deliveries and put away products.




Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages to the chef.
Minimize food waste and use ingredients efficiently.
Work closely with the kitchen and café teams to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications
Previous experience as a cook in a café, restaurant, or production kitchen.
Positive food-preparation skills and attention to detail.
Strong organization and time-management skills.
Knowledge of food-safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to follow recipes and work efficiently in a busy environment.
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working as part of a team.
Experience with sandwiches, salads, or Italian-inspired food is an asset.

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
