Job Summary

Axe Living is seeking an experienced third-year Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This role involves hands-on plumbing installation for our residential and modular construction projects, working with our manufacturing and site teams.

Responsibilities
Complete plumbing rough-ins and finish installations, including water supply, drainage, and venting systems.
Measure, cut, assemble, and install piping, fittings, valves, and fixtures.
Read and interpret plumbing drawings, specifications, and layouts.
Assist with pressure testing, leak detection, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Coordinate plumbing installations with framing, electrical, and HVAC teams.
Identify installation conflicts or missing information and raise them before proceeding.
Plan materials and tools needed for assigned tasks and communicate shortages early.
Follow approved drawings, applicable plumbing requirements, and company quality standards.
Support inspection preparation and correct deficiencies as directed.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Qualifications
Registered plumbing apprentice currently in the third year of apprenticeship.
Demonstrated hands-on experience with plumbing rough-ins, piping,



and fixture installations.
Ability to read plumbing drawings and take accurate measurements.
Comfortable using plumbing hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
Working knowledge of plumbing installation requirements and secure work practices.
Robust troubleshooting skills and attention to workmanship.
Ability to stay organized, complete assigned tasks efficiently, and recognize when guidance is needed.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with other trades.
Ability to perform the physical duties of the role, with accommodation as needed.
Experience in residential construction, prefabrication, or modular manufacturing is an asset.

Full‑time position with overtime available as needed.

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
