Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Heavy Duty Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to facilitate construction, paving, grading, and excavation projects. Your expertise will ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and contribute to large-scale infrastructure developments.

Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, loaders, graders, backhoes, and horizontal drilling machines with precision and safety in mind.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on all machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
Assist in site preparation, grading, paving, and excavation activities to meet project specifications.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently to maintain a secure work setting for yourself and your team.
Collaborate with project managers and team members to coordinate equipment usage and project timelines.
Maintain accurate logs of equipment operation hours, maintenance records, and job site activities.
Support other construction tasks as needed,



demonstrating versatility across various heavy equipment operations.

Skills
Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as dozers (including Caterpillar), excavators, loaders, graders, backhoes, and horizontal drilling equipment.
Solid mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues and perform basic repairs when necessary.
Ability to operate specialized equipment including paving machines and commercial driving vehicles.
Knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices on active job sites.
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and site supervisors.
Valid certifications or licenses related to heavy equipment operation are preferred.
Familiarity with construction projects involving grading, paving, or site development is highly advantageous.
