Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus, recipes, and quality standards.
Lead and coordinate kitchen staff during daily operations.
Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations.
Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation standards.
Assist with ordering, receiving, and inventory management.
Train and mentor new employees on kitchen procedures and company policies.
Support scheduling and task delegation to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Respond to customer and client requests in a qualified manner.
Assist management with operational improvements and cost-control initiatives.

Qualifications
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen workplace.
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Food Handler Certification required (or willingness to obtain).
Solid knowledge of food preparation, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
Excellent communication and team-building skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.




Ability to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods.

Experience

Required
2 - 5 years: non fast-food cooking experience
Kitchen supervisor experience.
