Job Overview

Townsview Estates is a 51 bed Residential Care Facility, licensed by the Department of Seniors and Long Term Care.

As a CCA, you will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. Under the direction of an RN and/or LPN, your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about caregiving and making a positive impact in the lives of seniors.

Successful applicants must provide a clean vulnerable and criminal sector check and be physically and mentally capable to complete a 12 hour shift day or night.

Duties include but are not limited to:
Providing or cueing personal care to clients, including assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Administering medications
Light housekeeping duties
Assisting with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort.




Offering companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' overall well-being.
Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in client condition to the supervising nurse.
Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organized setting.
Adhering to Infection Prevention and Control policies.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
CCA certification
Experience with seniors is preferred.
Robust caregiving skills with a genuine passion for helping others.
Ability to work effectively with individuals and seniors.
Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients, families, and team members.
A compassionate demeanor with patience and empathy towards clients' needs.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $23.30-$25.37 per hour
