We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Stitcher Operator, specializing in Bindery and Print Finishing, to operate and maintain our Müller Martini saddle stitching equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for machine setup, operation, quality control, troubleshooting, and maintaining production efficiency while ensuring finished products meet customer specifications.

Experience operating Müller Martini saddle stitchers is strongly preferred.

Duties
Set up and operate Müller Martini saddle stitching equipment and related bindery machinery
Set up and adjust machinery according to job specifications, ensuring optimal performance
Monitor production processes to maintain quality standards, making adjustments as needed
Conduct routine maintenance on machinery, troubleshooting mechanical issues promptly
Assist with packaging finished products securely for shipment or distribution




Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and improve workflow processes

Qualifications
Previous experience operating Müller Martini saddle stitchers preferred
Experience in a commercial printing, bindery or post-press finishing environment
Ability to set up, run and troubleshoot saddle stitching equipment
Robust mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret job tickets and production specifications
Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Reliable, punctual and able to work in a rapid-paced production environment

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Experience:
Müller Martini saddle stitchers: 2 years (required)
