Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team! In this vital role, you will manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring the integrity of our accounting processes. Your expertise will help support day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, reconciling accounts, and assisting with budgeting efforts. There will be a transition/training period and ongoing support from current staff, when needed. Our businesses include forestry operations, saw milling, and a wood finishing shop.

Duties
Process union and non-union payroll, remittances, and safety program
Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Invoicing, Costing, and quotes
Tax filing, Bank Recs, General Bookkeeping/Accounting

Qualifications
Robust understanding of bookkeeping principles,



including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation
Robust knowledge of payroll processing and related compliance requirements
Excellent attention to detail with solid organizational skills
Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately and efficiently
Effective communication skills to work with other staff and customers

Pay: $35.00-$39.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
