Job Summary

One of our clients is seeking an experienced Punch Press Operator to join their manufacturing team.

Job Title: Punch Press Operator

Location: Concord, ON
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $18 - $20/hour
Shift: Afternoon Shift
Schedule: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM

Key Responsibilities
Operate punch press machinery to punch, form, bend, and shape sheet metal according to specifications.
Set up and adjust machines, tooling, dies, and fixtures as required.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and production instructions.
Load and position materials accurately into the machine.
Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to ensure they meet quality and dimensional requirements.
Perform routine machine adjustments and basic troubleshooting.
Monitor machine operation and production processes for defects or irregularities.
Maintain accurate production and quality records.




Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Meet daily production and quality targets.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
1+ experience operating a punch press machine in a manufacturing or metal fabrication workplace.
Experience with machine setup, tooling, dies, and adjustments is an asset.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Knowledge of metal fabrication and sheet metal processes.
Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Positive understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials as required.
Previous manufacturing experience is required.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
