French Program Lead & TEF Examiner (Bilingual French/English) – Part-time

About us

Vteach Learning Centre is a licensed private school in south Edmonton, offering K-12 tutoring and French and English language programs. We're now applying to become a test centre for the TEF Canada, the French test used for Canadian immigration, and we're looking for a French language skilled to lead this new program.

What you'll do
Act as the French-speaking lead for our TEF program: liaise with the test provider (CCI Paris Île-de-France), coordinate exam sessions and help keep testing standards high
Conduct and assess oral TEF exams (recorded speaking interviews), after completing the provider's online examiner training
Teach French as a foreign language and TEF exam preparation to adults and youth, in small groups and one-on-one
Help recruit and support additional French examiners as the program grows

What we're looking for
Experience and/or qualifications in teaching French as a foreign or second language (FLE/FSL)



or French for specific purposes (FOS)
Native or near-native French, plus good working English
Knowledge of the CEFR levels (A1–C2)
Organized, reliable and comfortable communicating professionally by email and phone

Assets
A French-teaching diploma (e.g. Master FLE, DAEFLE, B.Ed. in French or FSL)
Experience as a DELF/DALF, TEF or TCF examiner
Experience preparing adults for immigration language tests
