Park Inn by Radisson Kelowna is Kelowna's new and exciting hotel brand under the Choice Hotels umbrella. This beautiful property has opened in May of 2020. Located on Hwy 97 and Mills Rd.

We seek a highly motivated and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. The position is permanent and full time.

The successful candidate must have a friendly and welcoming attitude. The Front Desk agent will be responsible for the hotel's morning operations from 7:00 a.m. to 03:00 p.m. and evening shifts from 3:00 p.m to 11 p.m. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and basic accounting skills. This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys problem-solving and has a passion for guest services.

Responsibilities
Ensure a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all guests
Replenish breakfast when needed
Handle guest complaints or issues promptly, aiming for a satisfactory resolution
Communicate with housekeeping staff
Match postings with reports
Anticipate guest arrivals
Implement and uphold hotel policies and procedures
Mop, clean, dust




Cash count and drop
Communicate with oncoming shift change

The successful candidate will be trained in office.

Qualifications
Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
Strong phone etiquette skills and experience handling phone systems effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with hotel management software is an advantage but not required; training will be provided.
