Join our production team as a Letterpress Foil Stamping & Embossing Operator! In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality printed materials by operating machinery that die-cuts, creases, perforates, foil stamps and embosses. Your expertise will help bring creative visions to life, ensuring precision and excellence in every piece. Duties
Operate and monitor letterpress equipment to produce detailed, high-quality designs on various substrates. Equipment includes a Heidelberg Cylinder Press, a Kluge Hot Foil Stamping and Embossing Press and a Heidelberg Windmill Platen.
Set up machinery according to job specifications, including adjusting pressure, temperature, and alignment for optimal results.
Inspect finished products for quality, verifying that it meets design standards.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on mechanical components to ensure continuous operation and prevent downtime.
Load materials safely onto machines
Collaborate with the manufacturing team to optimize workflows, improve efficiency,
and uphold safety standards in the warehouse environment.
Experience
Prior experience operating letterpress or foil stamping machinery is highly preferred.
Mechanical knowledge or background in manufacturing processes enhances your ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
Warehouse experience, including familiarity with forklift operation, is a valuable asset for material handling tasks.
Knowledge of packaging procedures ensures finished products are prepared correctly for shipment.
Experience with machining or technical equipment supports quick adaptation to our specialized machinery setup and maintenance routines.
Strong understanding of safety protocols within a manufacturing or warehouse setting is essential for maintaining a secure work workplace.
