Responsibilities
Offer overnight assistance to residents, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the night
Assist with medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
Support residents with daily activities such as meal preparation, light cleaning, and personal hygiene
Monitor residents’ health status, noting any changes or concerns to report to supervisors promptly
Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive environment during overnight hours
Maintain cleanliness of living spaces, including tidying up rooms and common areas as needed
Follow all safety procedures and emergency protocols to respond effectively to incidents or health issues
Requirements
Minimum High School diploma, DSW, PSW, or related field
Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home care, or senior care is highly preferred
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia care is a strong plus
Ability to administer medications accurately and responsibly
Robust caregiving skills combined with a compassionate, patient demeanor
Willingness to perform cleaning tasks and meal preparation as part of daily duties
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and support residents effectively
Flexibility to work overnight shifts in a dynamic, fast-paced workplace
