Job Summary

Santana Contracting Ltd. is looking to add a skilled and reliable diesel mechanic to our team. We are looking for someone who is reliable, has transportation to and from work, hardworking and willing to work on a variety of equipment, vehicles, heavy trucks and machinery.

Successful applicants will be working directly with an experienced red seal mechanic.

Hiring apprentices as well as red seal mechanics

Pay pending on experience and certifications.

Duties and Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance on various machines, trucks and pieces of equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in various machines
Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, change tires, repair exhaust systems, steering systems, and suspension systems, drive lines etc.




Oil changes and filter replacements greasing
Keeping work area and shop clean
Maintain accurate service records and reports
Work safely and efficiently, either alone or with others

Requirements
Must have drivers license and transportation
Must be willing to show up to work regularly and stay the entire work day
Ability to troubleshoot problems
Ability to work with others and independently
Commitment to work safely and efficiently

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Experience:
diesel mechanics : 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:
Driving Licence (required)
