We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a casual, as-needed basis to assist with upcoming flu and vaccination clinics in the community.
This is an ideal prospect for an LPN who already has experience working at influenza clinics, workplace vaccination clinics, or administering immunizations and is looking for versatile, occasional work.
Clinic dates and times are variable and based on demand, with opportunities throughout the flu season and potentially beyond.
Responsibilities
Administer influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations at community and workplace clinics
Complete appropriate vaccination documentation and record-keeping
Provide professional, efficient, and compassionate care to patients
Follow established immunization, infection prevention, and safety protocols
Monitor patients and respond appropriately to any concerns or adverse reactions
Work collaboratively with our pharmacy team and clinic staff
Requirements
Current registration as an LPN in British Columbia
Previous experience administering influenza vaccines or working at vaccination clinics is strongly preferred
Comfortable working efficiently in a busy clinic environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, reliable, and patient-focused
Ability to work independently while following established clinic protocols
