Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties with integrity and accuracy
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
Ensure food safety standards are adhered to by following proper food handling procedures
Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling pastries or snacks to complement beverages
Provide friendly, attentive customer service by greeting guests, taking orders,
and addressing inquiries promptly
Qualifications
Previous barista experience or food service experience preferred; a passion for coffee is a plus!
Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS is advantageous but not required; training will be provided
Robust time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service
Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and ability to connect with diverse guests
Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and managing transactions accurately
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
