About the role
We're adding one Heavy Equipment Technician to our team. You'll disassemble, inspect and reassemble dozer track frames, and handle disassembly and assembly on a variety of other heavy equipment components. You'll work alongside our certified journeypersons in a hands-on, team-based shop.

Schedule
Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Regular overtime available

What you'll do
Disassemble, inspect and reassemble dozer track frames
Disassemble and assemble other heavy equipment components
Use shop equipment such as overhead cranes and hydraulic presses safely and correctly
Inspect components and flag wear, damage or anything that doesn't look right
Follow our procedures and safety requirements on every job
Work as part of a team, communicating clearly with coworkers and leads

What we're looking for
Alberta Heavy Equipment Technician (or Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic, Off-Road) journeyperson certification, or a recognized equivalent trade certificate
Experience with heavy equipment undercarriage or component work preferred
Someone looking for a long-term position, not a short stop
A positive attitude and a team-first approach
