Light Duty Cleaner required for day shift hours at the Halifax Airport

Hours: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Successful candidate will receive a rotating schedule:

Week #1 - WORK: Monday & Tuesday, OFF: Wednesday & Thursday, WORK: Friday, Saturday & Sunday

Week #2 - OFF Monday & Tuesday, WORK: Wednesday & Thursday, OFF: Friday, Saturday & Sunday

This is a unionized position (post 60 day probation) and provides the successful applicant with 5 paid personal days / year, scheduled rate increases, as well as 100% cost covered medical, dental and vision benefits.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Responsibilities:
Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness as per contractual obligations.
Conduct commercial cleaning tasks, including but not limited to floor maintenance, restroom sanitation, glass cleaning, dusting,



carpet cleaning, and waste disposal.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines while using cleaning equipment and chemicals.

Requirements:
In order to complete probationary period the successful candidate will need to complete airport specific security training and obtain a security clearance. (Further details of this process can be provided via email or during an in person interview)
