Duties

Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring accurate seating assignments
Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize table turnover and guest flow
Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about wait times and restaurant offerings
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area to uphold high standards of hospitality
Assist guests with special requests or accommodations,
demonstrating excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Support team members in delivering outstanding guest services, fostering a lively and welcoming atmosphere
Experience
Previous experience in food service, restaurant hosting, or hospitality roles is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude above all
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in busy settings
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous
Experience handling phone etiquette professionally and courteously
Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food service procedures and guest interaction protocols, is a plus
Hotel or hospitality experience can be beneficial in understanding guest needs and expectations
