Children First: Eagle Ridge Nest is seeking qualified and certified Level 2 or Level 3 Early Childhood Educators to join our diverse team in a home-like environment. We strive to enact our mission of providing circles of support to our children and families by building strong relationships and creating places of vitality where we nurture the children as they grow and develop. We are Reggio-inspired and use Flight: Alberta's Early Learning and Care Framework to guide our practice. We implement an emergent curriculum and value using problem-solving approaches to guide children's behaviour. Our educators nurture and care for our children to support social, emotional, creative, intellectual and physical well-being in our licensed child care centre. We provide care for up to 62 children between the ages of 6 months and 12 years old from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will have a history of excellent teamwork, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. Required Skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills




Experience in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate emergent curriculum
Ability to adapt and modify activities to meet the developmental needs of all children
Experience guiding children's behaviour through a problem-solving approach
Experience with documentation and pedagogical documentation
Fluent knowledge of licensing and regulatory requirements
Experience with Flight: Alberta's Early Learning and Care Framework

Required Qualifications
Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Childhood Educator Certification
Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector
Current Child and Youth Intervention Check
Current CSA Intermediate First Aid CPR AED C (Standard First Aid)

Pay: $18.00-$19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
