Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring all equipment is ready for procedures.
Assist dentists during various treatments including exams, cleanings,
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring safety protocols are followed for patients and staff.
Manage patient comfort by providing clear instructions, answering questions, and addressing concerns throughout their visit.




Maintain accurate patient records using dental practice management software such as Dentrix ABLEDENT including documenting procedures and updates.
Stay informed about current dental practices and assist in maintaining compliance with health regulations and safety standards.

This is a specialty practice hours 7:45am to 5pm Monday to Friday 1 Saturday per month

Qualifications
2 years Proven experience in dental assisting with knowledge of dental procedures and patient care best practices.
Familiarity with dental software platforms
Basic understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and orthodontics.
Experience working with pediatric patient is a plus, demonstrating patience and excellent communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy workplace.
Certification in dental assisting a MUST
