Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Banquet Server to provide exceptional guest services at our event venues. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and hospitality, with a robust focus on customer satisfaction. This role involves setting up, serving, and clearing tables during banquets, ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. Prior restaurant or hotel experience is preferred, along with knowledge of food safety and handling standards. Duties
Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements
Set up banquet tables with linens, utensils, glassware, and centerpieces according to event specifications
Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously during events
Clear plates and serve additional courses or drinks as needed
Ensure cleanliness and organization of service areas before, during, and after events
Assist with food preparation tasks if required, adhering to food safety standards
Respond to guest inquiries professionally and efficiently to enhance guest satisfaction
Follow all food handling and safety procedures to maintain hygiene standards
Collaborate with event staff to ensure smooth operation of banquets and events
Skills
Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly desirable
Robust customer service skills with a friendly, skilled demeanor
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
Ability to serve guests efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
Hospitality experience, including hotel or event catering background, is a plus
Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or dishes comfortably
Attention to detail in setting up tables and ensuring guest comfort
