Totten is seeking a Senior Underwriter to manage an assigned portfolio within the Professional Liability segment. You will analyze risks, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance while collaborating closely with underwriting teams. Regular calls with brokers and insurer partners will foster strong relationships and enhance visibility in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a book of Qualified Liability business
• Analyze risks and negotiate terms effectively
• Support underwriting processes and policy issuance




• Conduct regular sales calls to brokers and partners
• Maintain strong visibility and rapport with stakeholders
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5-7 years underwriting experience
• RIBO License required or obtained within 3 months
• Industry designations preferred (CIP, CAIB)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with TAM or Policy Works is a plus
