Overview

We are seeking experienced Heavy Duty Mechanics, dedicated Apprentices, and Class 1 Drivers to join our dynamic transportation and logistics team. This multifaceted role involves maintaining and repairing heavy-duty vehicles and equipment, supporting rental operations, and ensuring secure and efficient transportation. The ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, technical proficiency, and a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and operation. Duties
Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
Operate heavy machinery and equipment such as skid steers, wheel loaders to facilitate loading, unloading, and warehouse activities efficiently.
Manage freight handling tasks including loading, securing, and unloading cargo with attention to safety protocols.
Conduct commercial driving duties adhering to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies for Class 1 vehicle operation.
Assist with routine repairs and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.




Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and inspection reports for all vehicles and equipment.
Support team efforts in warehouse organization, inventory management, and logistical planning as needed.

Requirements
Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic or relevant apprenticeship with a solid understanding of automotive repair techniques.
Valid Class 1 driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving in adverse road conditions, on and off road.
Winch tractor drivers an asset.
Ability to operate Aerial man lifts, skidsteers, wheel loaders and other heavy equipment safely.
Knowledge of cargo handling procedures and securing standards.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently and perform repairs accurately.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward safety compliance.

Pay: $30.00-$55.00 per hour
